Participate in "Followers for the NFFF" and Support this Important Foundation

July 2020 – The recently launched Followers for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation campaign began July 9 and continues through August 2020, or until $50,000 is raised to help the NFFF as they fulfill their mission. During that time, Knox will donate $5 for every new follower on our Facebook and/or LinkedIn platforms. Following Knox contributes to the amazing programs that the NFFF administers.

Knox Donates $10,000 to NFFF COVID-19 Emergency Fund

May 2020 – More than 85% of the funds raised through the NFFF COVID-19 Emergency Fund will be used to provide programs and services to first responders and their families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Knox Donates $30,000 to First Responders Impacted by the Mid-Tennessee Tornadoes

April 2020 – More than 20 members of the Nashville Fire Department lost their homes or were severely financially impacted by the tragic tornadoes that swept through the heart of Tennessee in early March. Knox donated $30,000 to the Nashville Firefighters Foundation; and they disseminated the funds to area fire service industry members who endured the tornado’s greatest impacts. 

 




Knox Partners with National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF)

November 2019 – As a major component of the Knox Company’s continued commitment to reducing firefighter risks, a partnership with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation has been formally established. The two organizations share many important synergies along with the goal of reducing risks that firefighters face daily. An $85,000 donation was presented to the foundation in November 2019.

Siarnicki, Executive Director of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. “They have been supportive of firefighter safety for more than 40 years and we welcome their participation with the Foundation.”

National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF)

The mission of the NFFF is to honor and remember America’s fallen fire heroes, to provide resources to assist their families in rebuilding their lives, and work within the fire service community to reduce firefighter deaths and injuries.
 



National Association of State Fire Marshals (NASFM)

NASFM’s principal membership comprises the senior fire officials in the United States and their top deputies.  NASFM’s mission is to protect life, property and the environment from fire and related hazards. Knox has partnered with NASFM to help educate fire departments and the business community about the importance of protecting FDC connections.
 



The FDNY Foundation

The FDNY Foundation is the official non-profit organization to benefit the New York City Fire Department. The funds raised assist the FDNY in its mission to prevent and respond to fires, medical emergencies, disasters, and terrorist acts, protecting the lives and property of residents and visitors in New York City.
 



Center for Campus Fire Safety (CCFS)

CCFS is a non-profit organization devoted to reducing the loss of life from fire at our nation's campuses. The organization serves as an advocate for promotion and as a clearinghouse for information relating to campus fire safety.

Metropolitan Fire Chiefs Association

The Metropolitan Fire Chiefs Association brings together fire chiefs from large metropolitan fire departments to share information and experiences and to discuss issues that pertain to their departments.
 

Congressional Fire Services Institute (CFSI)

CFSI is designed to educate members of Congress about the needs and challenges of America’s fire and emergency services to help them understand how the federal government can support the needs of our local first responders.
 


Operation Finally Home

Operation Finally Home provides mortgage-free homes to service members and their families who have become wounded, ill, or injured as a result of their service in the defense of our country.
 


 

Looking for Support from Knox?


The Knox Company accepts and reviews requests for potential charitable donations in the form of financial, or in-kind (i.e. product donations) support to qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofits, or similar charitable organizations to further the mission of legitimate charitable organizations. Charitable donation recipients must be registered as a non-profit entity and be entitled to receive the charitable donation.

Knox will review all requests for charitable donations for legal compliance and business appropriateness. Applications for charitable donations should be submitted for consideration at least two months prior to the date of the relevant event or program.

Include your organization’s mission, what type of product you are seeking or how much of a monetary donation is being requested; along with how and when the product will be used to benefit the organization and/or community. Include any pertinent details as well as contact information for your organization's donation coordinator.
