  • What product model do I need to order?
    Contact your local Fire or Public Safety Department for Knox product recommendations.
  • What is a Tamper Alert?
    The Knox Tamper Alert is installed inside the Knox Remote Power Box and connects to the alarm on your building. If anyone tampers with the box, the alarm will be activated.
  • Where are the spec sheets?
    Spec sheets are available on this page under the "Brochures & Specs" section or can be found here.
  • What is a dual lock for?
    Dual locks allow shared agency access so first responders can immediately gain access during emergencies. For example, fire departments, law enforcement, and emergency medical services may share access to properties in their local jurisdictions.
  • Who installs the Power Shutdown Box?
    The Knox Remote Power Box must be installed by a qualified and licensed electrician following the guidelines of the shunt trip system to which it is connected.
  • How or where do I install my Knox Remote Power Box?
    Due to the number of different applications and configurations in which the Knox Remote Power Box can be used, Knox does not provide specific instructions for electrical installation. The Knox Remote Power Box must be installed by a qualified and licensed electrician following the guidelines of the shunt trip system to which it is connected.
